So I've been pretty quiet on here for a while because honestly everything is getting really repetitive. Not a whole lot of new things happening. Same thing pretty much day after day, just new guests.

I've been following your blog because I plan on working on a cruise ship as a youth counselor once i'm finished with my degree in May. Do you have any idea how much youth counselors make? I've heard it's between $1000- $2500, but I can't seem to find a set starting amount. I know that you aren't a youth counselor but I figure maybe you're friends with someone who is? Any info would be great! I love reading your blog, its giving me good insight :)
ReplyDeleteI have been following your blog since my family returned from a cruise om the Pride to the Bahamas. We were on the Sept. 16th cruise. My daughter Reagan became really close with Kiki while on the cruise and i wanted to thank you and the crew for making her experience so memorable. She actually sent you a birthday card that her grandparents brought on a later cruise with them. We were planning to take another cruise in the spring and didn't know if you or Kiki would be on the Pride then. I know your shifts rotate. Thanks again for the great memories....especially for Reagan!!!
ReplyDeletei remember you and your family very well! I actually have the card from Reagan hanging up on my wall! I sent her an email after i got it - hopefully she received it? I actually won't be on the ship in the Spring. I leave the Pride in February and then will be going on the Carnival Valor in June. :) Hope to see you guys again soon!
DeleteSo I have a question ... do you get any kind of discount for the shore excursions since you are Carnival employees, or do you pay the full price same as the guests?
